Katie

Katie started dancing whilst living abroad in Japan, taking her first classes in salsa and bachata at Club Mago in Nagoya. She moved back to the UK in 2012 and has been teaching and performing with various London-based dance companies since, as well as running workshops in technique and musicality.
She managed a ballet school for several years, producing full-scale theatrical performances such as Nutcracker and Peter Pan. Later, she was the organisational director for the Ballet Arts Project charity, providing training to young aspiring dancers through masterclasses, pre-professional coaching and performance opportunities.
Katie enjoys both leading and following in her dance and has a particular passion for creativity and musicality. She is also a qualified fitness professional and so brings an excellent understanding of movement technique that helps students to grow their skills and bring their own unique style to their dancing.
